Formed in 2021, the Bubble accelerates future-focused experiments which deliver scalable impact for children, and sustainable new income streams. The Bubble uses SCUK’s connections, networks, influence and expertise, in collaboration with the global Save the Children movement and external partners, to challenge the status quo and deliver transformational change for children.

 

What does the Bubble do?

The Bubble uses a range of innovative methodologies and approaches to address some of the biggest global challenges children are facing, including:

  • Youth and community engagement

  • Commercial Ventures

    Creating new, sustainable unrestricted income models by developing market leading commercial ventures. We are looking to shift the way we perceive value in our assets, provoking a new approach to potential markets and income streams whilst creating increased impact for children.

  • Start Up Collaboration

    Exploring how collaborating with startup enterprises who are creating exciting innovations can deliver value for SCUK, startups, associated partners, and most importantly delivering life-changing impact for children.

  • Innovative Finance

    Developing innovative social investment propositions, in response to growing market demand for investment products which offer financial return and a positive social impact and investigating new solutions through the broad range of potential models which are new to Save the Children UK.
